FAQ

1. What services does Care Plan Financial offer?

Innovative and deadline-driven Graphic Designer with 3+ years of experience designing and developing user-centered digital/print marketing material from initial concept to final, polished deliverable.

2. When should I start planning for retirement?

The sooner, the better. Starting early gives your assets more time to grow, provides more options, and helps ensure a stable future.

3. What is long-term care (LTC) planning and why is it important?

It is financial planning to prepare for extended medical care in later years. It helps protect your assets and reduces the financial burden on your family. About 80% of Americans receive long-term care before they pass away, but Medicare only covers up to 100 days. After that, costs are 100% out-of-pocket. The solution is to enroll in long-term care insurance or a life insurance or annuity policy with long-term care benefits to protect assets and ease the financial burden on loved ones.

4. What is the difference between term life insurance and permanent life insurance?

Term life insurance provides coverage for a specific period, while permanent life insurance offers lifetime coverage and builds cash value. Unlike older policies, many modern plans now include living benefits. We guide you to the most suitable product for your needs.

5. What is an annuity, and how does it help with retirement planning?

An annuity is a financial product that guarantees a steady income for life after retirement. Think of it as a second personal Social Security. It offers a stable financial foundation for a peaceful retirement, especially as life expectancy continues to rise.

6. Do you assist with 401(k) or IRA rollovers?

Yes. We design rollover strategies tailored to your situation, offering higher interest rates and additional benefits without tax penalties. You can roll over a retirement plan from a previous employer at any time, and rollovers from a current employer’s plan are possible once you are over 60.

7. Do you offer consultations on Medicare?

Absolutely. We guide you through Medicare enrollment, plan selection, benefit understanding, and more. We also provide support for Obamacare and Medicaid consultations.

8. Are Care Plan Financial's strategies effective for reducing taxes?

Yes. We offer customized tax-saving strategies for both individual retirees and business owners, helping reduce tax burdens and manage assets efficiently. We collaborate with tax experts, such as CPAs and tax attorneys, to provide comprehensive support.

9. Do I need life insurance even if I have savings?

Yes. Life insurance provides guaranteed protection along with tax benefits and advantages in wealth transfer that savings alone cannot offer. Modern life insurance policies often include living benefits, which allow you to access death benefits while still alive—making them highly attractive.

10. Do ordinary people need a living trust?

Yes, especially if you own a home. Assets in a trust transfer directly to beneficiaries without probate (court proceedings), saving time and costs while protecting privacy.

11. Do I need a living trust even if I have a living will?

Yes. A living will addresses medical decisions, while a living trust manages and transfers assets without probate after death. A living trust package often includes documents like a living will, so it is more effective for those who own assets.

12. Who is eligible for ObamaCare, and when can I apply?

Obama Care (officially the Affordable Care Act) is a health insurance program available to U.S. citizens, green card holders, and other legal residents. You can apply regardless of any pre-existing conditions, and depending on your household income, you may qualify for government subsidies that significantly reduce your monthly premiums.

The main enrollment period (Open Enrollment) runs each year from November to early January. However, if you've experienced a major life event—such as moving, giving birth, getting married, or losing a job—you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period, allowing you to apply at any time during the year.

Not sure which plan is right for you or whether you qualify for financial assistance? Care Plan Financial will guide you through the entire process—from plan comparison to enrollment—with care and clarity.
